هو نوع من الهجمات السيبرانية التي يستخدم فيها المتسلل نوعين أو أكثر من الأدوات لتنفيذ الهجوم والاستيلاء على شبكة أو حاسوب الضحية.
تكون الهجمات الإلكترونية الهجينة مزيجاً من هجمات القوة العمياء وهجوم القاموس، بحيث يستخدم المتسللون هذه الأنواع من الهجمات لكسر كلمات المرور التي تم تغييرها بالفعل مرة واحدة. مثلاً، يقوم المتسلل بكسر كلمة مرور شخصٍ ما، لكن الشخص يكتشف هذا الاختراق ويبتكر كلمة مرور أقوى تتضمن الكلمات والأرقام. يمكن للمتسلل بعد ذلك استخدام هجوم هجين لكسر كلمة المرور الجديدة التي تحتوي الآن على أرقام.
